On July 30, 2020, the Mars 2020/Perseverance rover launched from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS). After some six months of travel, Perseverance will arrive at Mars and its Jezero Crater and spend over two Earth years on the planet before returning its samples back to Earth. Ingenuity, the Mars helicopter, also hitched a ride with Perseverance to the Red Planet to test out the first powered flight on Mars!
